GE Smallworld took Core Spatial Technology its first annual road show through the Asia Pacific. The show was a huge success bringing customers together to discuss implementation; decision makers to review products; and managers looking for answers. Traveling as a road show through the month of November, GE Smallworld was able to connect with a wide array of companies in their own back yards, discussing customer success stories, industry specific solutions, technology innovation updates, enhanced product capabilities, and rapid implementation methodologies.

The First stop for the GE Smallworld road show was in Shanghai, November 1-3, 2000. The event began with a cocktail reception hosted by Compaq and followed with sessions attended by representatives from most of the regions power companies. From there the conference moved to Seoul, November 6-7 and Tokyo, November 9-10 where attendees included representatives from gas, water, telecommunications and power industries. The show wrapped up in Taipei, November 13-14, 2000 with a press conference and a lot of interest in the GE Smallworld Internet Application Server. All in all over 340 total attendees were involved with the show, a great start for this annual event!
