Smallworld's Academic program has three major focuses:

  • Utilizing Smallworld in post graduate research in areas ranging from engineering to biology to social sciences; and
  • Exposing undergraduate students to Smallworld's unique technology and data model, enhancing their understanding of geospatial sciences and at the same time, increasing the pool of Smallworld-trained graduates.
  • Supplementing GE Smallworld facilities and staff to provide additional GE Smallworld training, as necessary.
