What is it?
The Summer School is a 3 week intensive training course to learn how to develop applications using Smallworld's object orientated programming environment and spatial database.
Why?
The primary objective of the Summer School is to provide to swell the ranks of those joining the Smallworld community for the first time.
Who's it for?
Those wishing to pursue a career using Smallworld's technology
Where?
A purpose built training facility at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK
When?
There is only one Smallworld Summer School every year, the dates for next year are
18th June - 7th July 2001
So how much is it and who pays for it?
The cost of the tuition is £1500 per student - in addition to this will be the cost of travel, accommodation and subsistence for the 3 weeks
Sponsorship is available for suitably qualified candidates to cover these costs from Smallworld, its customers, partners and others.
