Peter
Britnell, who helped found Smallworld's Asia Pacific
organization, serves as vice president of utilities
& public systems.
Peter Britnell started his career
as a technical consultant in IT after an education as
a civil engineer.
He then moved through sales and
sales management roles with ICL in New Zealand and Singapore before moving into senior
management roles mainly concerned with starting new IT companies such as Data General and
Computervision.
Mr Britnell returned to New Zealand
in 1990 as General Manager of Cardinal Network, a large software conglomerate before
joining Mike and Lesley Bundock in Australia to start Smallworld there.
