Profile:
Joan Myhill is is responsible for providing Global business services to the organisation, including Global IT and Global Customer Support.

From 1995 to 2000, Joan managed the development, quality, documentation and delivery of Smallworld's software products.

She joined Smallworld in 1993 with the Smallworld UK Telecomms applications group, where she managed and delivered applications to most of the early Smallworld Cable TV and Telecommunications customers.

Past Experience:
Mrs. Myhill began her career as an ophthalmic optician and after 10 years both in practice and managing a group of practices, went back to college to study computer science. She worked for the CAD company Shape Data for three years before coming to Smallworld.

Professional Memberships/Qualifications:
Mrs. Myhill holds B.Sc. in Ophthalmic Optics from the City University, London and an MSc. in Computer Science from Hatfield Polytechnic She is a Member of the British College of Optometrists.
